Mr. Cole was a transitional figure in the evolution of Pop Music into what was becoming Rock and Roll; his jazz piano and hip arrangements were use by many more artists over the years.

Natalie fell off the public's radar for a period when drugs and depression threatened to dim her talent. She came back with a vengance in 1987 with "Everlasting," featuring a poptastic cover of Bruce Springsteen's cheeky "Pink Cadillac."
