Well, that's it for ELVIS WEEK, of course we just touched on his career and hits, but I hope everyone enjoyed revisiting the life of the King of Rock and Roll. As all 'E's fans know, at the end of each Concert the announcer would say, "Elvis Has Left the Building" and by the time he said that, Elvis would be long gone in his motorcade.

That actually came about early on in his career, when the fans mobbed his car and often blocked traffic. Of course, it has a different meaning now. I didn't know that Frank Zappa had recorded a song about Elvis' exit, many years ago, but our researcher Scott did, and suggested we finish the week with it. Like most of Frank's stuff it's very tongue in cheek, but I think appropriate. Elvis had the ability to laugh at himself and his image, and would have probably found the song amusing.
