Halloween reminds us of Ghosts, and if you have ghosts, who you gonna call. John Hale says, GHOSTBUSTERS. --TDR
Here's another haunted hit for the Halloween season. In this case, "haunted" is a very apt description. This is Ray Parker Jr. and his theme from the hit eighties movie Ghostbusters. Ray Parker established himself in the late seventies as a hit-maker with songs like "Jack & Jill," and "You Can't Change That" using the group name Raydio. He began using his real name in the early eighties, and scored such hits as "The Other Woman" and "That Old Song." Ghostbusters, with its' insistent dance beat would go on to become his biggest hit ever, and is replayed even today by oldies radio stations as one of the most popular Halloween-themed hits ever. This is Ray Parker Jr. and Ghostbusters.
