The legendary singer HANK WILLIAMS died 63 years ago. His son Hank Jr., whom he called BOCEPHUS was just a boy, and would struggle the rest of his life with his dad's legacy; but he was also able to carve out his own distinctive and rebellious niche in music history. Hank Senior wrote many songs that have gone on to become standards in the American songbook, I remember the first time I heard, I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry, and got chills from it's haunting beauty. Like so many others in his trade old Hank had some bad habits and died way too young...but his music still continues to be recorded and heard until this very day. @TheRealDonRocks
