During the Dance Craze Years, partially driven by American Bandstand, one dance seemed to happen quickly and become incredibly popular. I'm talking about: THE STROLL, by a group called THE DIAMONDS. It was fairly simple to do if you could avoid falling over your own two feet.
Form two lines, boys on one side, girls on the other making a kind of aisle. The first boy would meet the first girl in the middle, grasp hands and 'Stroll' down to the other end. This clip is a hoot, it's not from A.B., but some local TV show in Idaho in 1958. The kids look so young, the girls skirts so long, and the boys so short. But the track is nice and clear @TheRealDonRocks
