Soft rock wonder: Bread

A group named: BREAD, had great success during the 70's with what we called SOFT ROCK. Bread's two principle players with the highest audience recognition were: DAVID GATES and JIMMY GRIFFIN, who did the vocals.

Bread kicked off the Decade with their one and only #1 Hit: MAKE IT WITH YOU, which was the personification of 'Make Out Music," and could be played by both Top 40 and Adult Contemporary Radio Stations.

Fun Fact: In 1971, LARRY KNECHTEL, who played the Piano Open on Si and Gar's: BRIDGE OVER TROUBLED WATER, replaced ROBB ROYER, Bread's keyboard and percussionist. Here's "Make It with You" Live on the Midnight Special with great sound and decent video. @therealdonrocks
