Otis Redding and Janis Joplin stunned the audience at the Monterrey Pop Festival in 1967. There are some amazing coincidences that followed, both became renowned super stars in the Music Business, and both died in their mid-20's; Janis of a Heroin Overdose at 27, and Otis in a Light Plane crash at 26. Yet today most folks in the Baby Boomer Generation still recognize their names and remember their music.
Scott found a beautiful film clip of Otis Redding performing I'VE BEEN LOVING YOU TOO LONG at that very Festival. So let's go back to Northern California at the beginning of the Summer of Love and watch Otis Redding Live with pristine picture and audio. @therealdonrocks
